Splice Project

A spliced mixed-media drawing combining the concepts of high and low art, as well as new and old Japanese art. The media combines chalk, marker, and pen to create two works combined into one image and manifests a dialogue. The two spliced images are from "The Greate Wave Off Kanagawa" by Hokusai and a character image from a panel in Taeko Watanabe's "Kaze Hikaru" manga.
